Thun-Saint-Amand is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux (until 2015 canton of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux-Rive gauche ) in the arrondissement of Valenciennes . It borders on Maulde to the north-west, Mortagne-du-Nord to the north, Château-l'Abbaye to the north-east and east , Nivelle to the south and Lecelles to the south-west .
