Lõpe (Hiiumaa)

Lõpe is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Hiiumaa (until 2017: rural municipality Pühalepa ). It is located on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ).
Description and history
Lõpe (German Leppe ) has 129 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). The place is 6.5 kilometers southeast of the island's capital Kärdla ( Kertel ).
In 1529 the "Leppesche Dorf" was first mentioned in a document.
