List of museums in Berlin and the surrounding area
The list of museums in Berlin and the surrounding area contains articles on institutions, museums and collections in Berlin . It is sorted alphabetically, with both the official name and the main name (keywords, common main terms) listed, so that some museums are classified several times. (This makes it easier to access using common names.) The list also includes historical collections (period of existence). The state or city limits of Berlin are not an exclusion criterion, as the immediate vicinity, such as B. Potsdam , is seen by culturally interested visitors as part of the metropolitan region.
