International matches without test match status

In 1921 the Springboks played three times against the Australian New South Wales Waratahs . While the Australian Rugby Union granted these games test match status, the South African Rugby Union still does not. The reason for this is that rugby union was only played in the state of New South Wales at that time and the Australian selection therefore cannot be regarded as a full national team from the perspective of the South Africans.
