The tour of the Pakistani national cricket team to Australia in the 1999/2000 season took place from November 5th to 28th, 1999. The international cricket tour was part of the 1999/2000 international cricket season and included three tests . Australia won the series 3–0.

Australia previously played a tour in Zimbabwe , Pakistan previously took part in a tournament in the United Arab Emirates . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1998/99 season in Pakistan .

In the game, the Pakistani player Mohammad Akram hit the Australian Shane Warne . Referee John Reid found Akram guilty and issued a stern admonition. At the end of the test series, the Pakistani federation announced that it would no longer accept Reid as a referee.
