Vue ( Breton : Gwagenez ) is a French municipality with 1638 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nantes and the Canton of Machecoul (until 2015: Canton Le Pellerin ). The inhabitants are called Veuzéens .

geography

Vue is located on the Acheneau around twenty kilometers west-southwest of Nantes in the historic Pays de Retz landscape . Cheix-en-Retz is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Frossay in the north and north-west, Le Pellerin in the north and north-east, Rouans in the east, and Chaumes-en-Retz in the south and west.
