The 81st Reserve Division was a major unit of the Prussian army in the First World War .

history

The large association was formed on December 24, 1914 and used on the Eastern Front. After the ceasefire there at the end of 1917, the division moved to the Western Front , where it fought until the end of the war. After the armistice of Compiègne , she marched back home, where the demobilization and dissolution of the large association took place on January 25, 1919.
