Alice Brown (born September 20, 1960 in Jackson , Mississippi ) is a former American sprinter . She was twice Olympic champion and once world champion.

Brown started at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and won the silver medal in the 100-meter run behind Evelyn Ashford (USA) and ahead of Merlene Ottey (JAM). In the 4 x 100 meter relay , she won the gold medal together with her teammates Jeanette Bolden , Chandra Cheeseborough and Evelyn Ashford. At the World Championships in Rome in 1987 , she also won the gold medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay.

At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 , she again won the gold medal with the team in the 4 x 100 meter relay with her teammates Sheila Echols , Florence Griffith-Joyner and Evelyn Ashford.
