history

The place was first mentioned in a document as "Budelar" in 1140. Until the end of the 18th century it belonged to the electoral office of Nürburg . Under the French administration, Bauler went to Mairie Barweiler in the canton of Adenau , and during the Prussian period to the mayor's office in Aremberg in the Adenau district .
