Le Vernet is a French commune with a population of 24 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Le Puy-en-Velay and the canton of Saint-Paulien (until 2015: canton of Loudes ).
