This is the list of movable bridges in Germany , divided into three tables according to their type of movement ( various movable bridges ). Movable bridges are very often used on lock systems .

After destruction of the end of the Second World War by the Armed Forces took place until 1956 a reconstruction. After the fall of the Wall , when tourism on the Baltic Sea also increased significantly, a new bascule bridge was built next to the previous one, which was removed after the new structure was inaugurated.
