United States

It remained in contact with the ground for 27 kilometers, destroyed 12,000 houses and also brought two schools to collapse. It was the fourth severe tornado in Moore in fourteen years and reached wind speeds of 340 km / h. Several hundred people were injured.

Austria

From 1951 to 2010, the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics registered almost 100 tornadoes in Austria, three of which reached strength F3. The most violent documented tornado occurred on July 10, 1916 in Wiener Neustadt in southern Lower Austria and killed 34 people.
