NFL Coach of the Year Award
The NFL Coach of the Year Award is the award for the best coach of the season in the National Football League (NFL). There are several institutions that honor the best coach of the year. Overlaps are possible. If there are multiple awards, the number is in brackets.
Associated Press
The Associated Press (AP) has voted the best NFL coach of the year every year since 1957 .

United Press International
The US news agency United Press International (UPI) also awarded a prize for coach of the year until 1997. Until 1969, a corresponding award was also given to the best AFL trainer .
Maxwell Club
The Maxwell Club , run by Ron Jaworski , also honors the coach of the year every year. The award is officially named after former NFL trainer Earle "Greasy" Neale .
