Owraschnoje ( Russian Овражное , 1947–2008 Owraschnaja , German   Blumental Lithuanian Blumentalis Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk in chernyakhovsky district .
Geographical location Ovrashnoye is located ten kilometers northeast of the city of Chernyakhovsk (Insterburg) near the municipal road 27K-396, which branches off the municipal road 27K-175 at Nismennoye (Rosenthal) . The place was a train station on the Chernyakhovsk – Sovetsk (Insterburg – Tilsit) railway line until 1945 .

history The later Blumental was founded in 1829. On 12 October 1896, the rural community of August Lauken in Gutsbezirk Blumenthal was converted, which since 1874 the District Neunischken (1938-1946: Neunassau) in the district Insterburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged. In 1910 the Gutsdorf Blumental had 71 inhabitants.
On September 30, 1928, the Blumental manor district was incorporated into the rural community (large) Kamputschen and renamed "Blumental". The number of inhabitants was now 198 in 1933 and 182 in 1939.
In 1945, Blumental came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place received the Russian name "Ovrashnaja" and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Kaluschski selski Sowet in the Chernyakhovsk district . In 2008 the place came to the rural municipality Kalushskoje selskoje posselenije. His spelling was changed to "Ovrashnoye". Ovrashnoye has been part of the Chernyakhovsk district since 2015.

church Ecclesiastically, the Blumental, inhabited by a predominantly Protestant population, was assigned to the parish of the Georgenburg Church (today in Russian: Majowka ) and thus belonged to the Insterburg parish in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Ovraznoye lies in the catchment area of the newly formed Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Chernyakhovsk (Insterburg) , which is the parish of the Chernyakhovsk church region in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
