Rostovskoye ( Russian Ростовское , German  Tölteninken , Lithuanian Tiltininkai ) is a small town in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk in chernyakhovsky district .

Geographical location

Rostovskoye is located 22 kilometers northwest of the Rajon town of Chernyakhovsk (Insterburg) on the municipal road 27K-226 from Gluschkowo (Plibischken) to Krasnooktjabrskoje (Groß Ponnau) . There is no train connection.

history

The place called Tölteninken until 1945 consisted of large scattered farms before 1945. Its foundation was in 1345. Between 1874 and 1945 was Tölteninken in the District Plibischken (now Russian: Gluschkowo) incorporated and belonged to the circle Wehlau in the administrative district of Konigsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia .

As a result of the war, Tölteninken came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia in 1945 . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name "Rostovskoye" and was assigned to the village soviet Kamenski selski soviet in Chernyakhovsk Raion . From 2008 to 2015 Rostovskoye belonged to the rural municipality of Kamenskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Chernyakhovsk.
