Saint-Nicolas : (also Saint-Nicolas-lez-Arras , Flemish : Sint Niklaes or Sint Niklaas is a) French commune in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality with 4738 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) belongs to the Arrondissement of Arras and is part of the canton of Arras-2 . The inhabitants are called Médiolanais .

Saint-Nicolas is located in the historic province of Artois on the canalised Scarpe . Saint-Nicolas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Roclincourt in the north, Saint-Laurent-Blangy in the east, Arras in the south, and Saint-Catherine-lès-Arras in the west.
