Schaworonkowo ( Russian Жаворонково , German  whirling, Insterburg district , Lithuanian Virbliai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk in chernyakhovsky district .

Geographical location

Schaworonkowo is located 18 kilometers northwest of the city of Chernyachovsk (Insterburg) on the municipal road 27K-125 from Meschduretschje (Norkitten) on the federal road A229 (also European route 28 , formerly Reichsstrasse 1 ) via Kamenskoje (Saalau) to Dalneje (Groß Schirrau) . In the village ends a road coming from Gremjatschje (Berschkallen / Birken) .
