Sochowsnoje  ( Russian    Совхозное  , German   Sterkeninken  , 1938-1945 Starkenicken   , Lithuanian    Sterkininkai   ) is a place in the Russian   Oblast of Kaliningrad  . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk  in chernyakhovsky district  .
Geographical location  
Sovkhoznoye is nine kilometers northwest of the district center of Chernyakhovsk   (Insterburg)  on the municipal road 27K-060 from Dowatorovka   (Zwion)  to Kamenskoye   (Saalau)  . There is no train connection.
history  
The in 1422 as Albrechtstal  founded and later Sterkeninken  called village was from 1874 to 1945 in the District  Alischken (1930: no longer Karpowo existent, "District Forest village", Russian) incorporated and belonged to the district Insterburg  in Administrative district Gumbinnen  the Prussian  province East Prussia  . With the district of Lindenhof (no longer existing today), a total of 358 inhabitants were registered in Sterkinken in 1910. Their number was 331 in 1933 and 302 in 1939. On June 3, 1938 (with official confirmation of July 16, 1938) Sterkeninken was renamed "Starkenicken" for political and ideological reasons. 
As a result of the Second World War  , the place came in 1945 with northern East Prussia  to the Soviet Union  . In 1947 he was given the Russian name "Sovkhoznoye" and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Gremjatschski selski Sowet  in Chernyakhovsk district  . Since 1954 Sovkhoznoye belonged to the Majowski selski Sowet  . In 1997 the place came to the village district Kamenski selski okrug  . From 2008 to 2015 Sovkhoznoye belonged to the rural municipality of Kamenskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the Chernyakhovsk district.

The population of Lindenhof and Sterkeninken resp. Starkenicken was predominantly of Protestant  denomination until 1945 and was parish  in the parish of  the Church of Georgenburg  (today in Russian: Majowka). It was part of the church district Insterburg  in the church province of East Prussia of  the Church of the Old Prussian Union  . Today Sovkhoznoye is located in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Chernyakhovsk   (Insterburg)  , which was founded in the 1990s and is also the parish of the Chernyakhovsk church region and belongs to the Kaliningrad provost of  the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia  .
