Wickersheim-Wilshausen is a French commune with 392 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region ( Alsace until 2015 ). Wickersheim-Wilshausen is a united community based on the principle of the so-called Communes associées . She is a member of the Communauté de communes du Pays de la Zorn .

history

The municipality of Wickersheim-Wilshausen has existed in its current form since January 1, 1973. It emerged from the merger of the municipalities of Wickersheim and Wilshausen .

Townscape

Most of the properties in the village center are on Rue principale , the main street. The Allmendgraben , a canalised stream, runs next door . Out of town there is mainly arable land.
