Alteckendorf is a French commune with 868 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the canton of Bouxwiller in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ). On January 1, 2015, Alteckendorf moved from the Arrondissement Strasbourg-Campagne to the Arrondissement Saverne .

Attractions
- Saint Arbogast Lutheran Church with a 14th century fresco about Jesus of Nazareth .
- The Lutheran church in Altdorf was rebuilt in 1775 including the choir tower of the previous church.
- A fresco from 1776 on Rue principale depicts Baron Franz de Trenck.
Economy and Infrastructure
Alteckendorf has its own train station on the Mommenheim – Sarreguemines railway line of the SNCF and is connected to the transport network by side roads. The area outside the village center is mainly used for agriculture.
