Pfulgriesheim is a French commune with 1,311 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ). On January 1, 2015, the municipality moved from the Arrondissement Strasbourg-Campagne to the Arrondissement Saverne .

location

The community is located in the Kochersberg between Pfettisheim and Mittelhausbergen , about ten kilometers northwest of Strasbourg .

history

The place name appeared relatively late, namely in 1163 as Vulncriegesheim . In the 16th century, the place belonged to the noble family von Andlau , under whom the Reformation was introduced in 1526. Since 1685 the local church serves as a simultaneous church for Protestants and Catholics as a place of worship.
