The wall of the enclosure was completed in 1867. The original church in Furdenheim was built in the 13th century and consecrated to St. Nicholas of Myra . Only the bell tower with the choir remains of this original church . Around 1575 the parish became Protestant. The nave was destroyed in 1820 and rebuilt in 1822. A small window from the 13th century was built into a neighboring house. The pastorate was closed during the French Revolution (1789–1799) and converted into a school. Meanwhile, the pastor lived with private individuals. Today's pastorate was built in 1912.
