Schnersheim is a French commune with 1613 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ). Since May 1st 1972 the villages Avenheim and Kleinfrankenheim belong to Schnersheim. On January 1, 2015, the municipality moved from the Arrondissement Strasbourg-Campagne to the Arrondissement Saverne . Schnersheim is a member of the Communauté de communes du Kochersberg . Schnersheim is located in the Kochersberg on the D41 department road, which connects Schnersheim with Wiwersheim and Neugartheim-Ittlenheim .
