Beauchalot ( Occitan : Vauchalòt ) is a French commune with 640 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and to the municipal association Cagire Garonne Salat, founded in 2016 . The inhabitants are called Beauchalotois .

geography

Beauchalot is about eleven kilometers east of Saint-Gaudens on the Garonne , which borders the community in the south. Beauchalot is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Castillon-de-Saint-Martory in the north, Lestelle-de-Saint-Martory in the east, Figarol in the southeast, Montespan in the south, Labarthe-Inard in the west and Saint-Médard in the northwest.

The A64 autoroute runs along the northern edge of the municipality .
