Melles ( Occitan Mèles ) is a French commune with 89 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and the canton of Bagnères-de-Luchon (until 2015 Saint-Béat ). The inhabitants are called Mellois .

location

Melles is located about 100 kilometers south-southwest of Toulouse . The Garonne runs along the southwestern edge . Melles is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Boutx in the north and northwest, Saint-Lary in the northeast, Antras in the east, Sentein in the east and southeast, Canejan (Spain) in the south and Fos in the west and southwest.
