Puymaurin ( Occitan Poumaourin ) is a French commune with 296 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and is part of the canton of Cazères (until 2015 L'Isle-en-Dodon ). The inhabitants call themselves Puymaurinois .

Puymaurin is located in the Comminges region and in the Lannemezan plain . Puymaurin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gaujan in the north and northwest, Molas in the north and northeast, L'Isle-en-Dodon in the east, Anan in the east and southeast, Montesquieu-Guittaut and Saint-Ferréol-de-Comminges in the south, Nénigan in the Southwest, Sarcos in the west and Monbardon in the west and northwest.
