Montauban-de-Luchon ( Occitan Montauban de Luishon ) is a French commune with 496 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and the association of communes Pyrénées Haut Garonnaises founded in 2016 . The inhabitants are called Montalbanois .

Montauban-de-Luchon is located on the right bank of the Pique in the Pyrenees and in the historic province of Comminges on the border with Spain . Montauban-de-Luchon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Juzet-de-Luchon in the north, Bossòst (Spain) in the east, Saint-Mamet in the south and Bagnères-de-Luchon in the west.
