L'Isle-en-Dodon ( Occitan : L'Illa de skin ) is a French municipality with 1631 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Garonne in the region of Midi-Pyrénées . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and is part of the canton of Cazères . The inhabitants call themselves L'Islois .
geography
L'Isle-en-Dodon is located in the Comminges countryside and on the Lannemezan plain on the Save . The Larjo River limits the municipality to the west. L'Isle-en-Dodon is surrounded by the neighboring communities Boissède in the north, Mirambeau and Martisserre in the north-east, Agassac in the east, Coueilles in the south-east, Saint-Frajou in the south and south-east, Anan in the south, Puymaurin in the west and south-west, Molas in the West and north-west and Tournan in the north-west.
