Ponlat-Taillebourg ( Occitan Pontlat e Talhaborg ) is a French commune with 619 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ); it is part of the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and the canton of Saint-Gaudens (until 2015 Montréjeau ). The inhabitants are called Ponlatais and Taillebourgeois .

Ponlat-Taillebourg is located in the historic province of Comminges at the foot of the Pyrenees and on the banks of the Garonne , about 90 kilometers southwest of Toulouse . Ponlat-Taillebourg is surrounded by the neighboring communities Loudet in the north, Le Cuing in the north and northeast, Clarac in the east, Pointis-de-Rivière in the south and southeast, Ausson in the southwest, Les Toureilles in the west and Franquevielle in the northwest.
