Labarthe-Rivière ( Occitan Era Barta d'Arribèra ) is a French commune with 1,332 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ); it is part of the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and the canton of Saint-Gaudens . The inhabitants are called Bartains .

Labarthe-Rivière is located in the historic province of Comminges at the foot of the Pyrenees . The Garonne limits the municipality to the north. Labarthe-Rivière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villeneuve-de-Rivière in the north, Valentine in the east, Aspret-Sarrat in the south-east, Sauveterre-de-Comminges in the south, Ardiège in the south-west, Martres-de-Rivière in the west, Pointis-de- Rivière in the west and north-west and Bordes-de-Rivière in the north-west.
