Couret is a French commune with 239 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). The residents are known as couretois .

The community is located in Comminges , 14 kilometers southeast of Saint-Gaudens .

Neighboring communities are: Ganties , Estadens and Soueich .

history

The operation of the 19th century thermal baths was discontinued in 1958. The Bains de Ganties thermal spa building is still there.
