Larroque ( Occitan Era Arròca ) is a French commune with 292 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ); it is part of the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and the canton of Saint-Gaudens (until 2015 Boulogne-sur-Gesse ). The inhabitants are called Larroquais .
geography
Larroque is located in the historic province of Comminges at the foot of the Pyrenees on the Save , about 75 kilometers southwest of Toulouse . Larroque is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sarrecave and Nizan-Gesse in the north, Montmaurin in the north and northeast, Sarremezan in the northeast, Cardeilhac in the east, Lodes in the southeast, Le Cuing in the south, Saint-Plancard in the south and southwest, Cazaril-Tambourès in the west and southwest as well as Balesta in the west.
