Montbernard ( identical Occitan ) is a French commune with 222 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and is part of the canton of Cazères (until 2015 L'Isle-en-Dodon ). The inhabitants call themselves Montbernardains .

Montbernard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montesquieu-Guittaut in the north, Saint-Laurent in the north and northeast, Salerm in the east, Lilhac in the east and southeast, Castéra-Vignoles in the south and southeast, Escanecrabe in the south, Mondilhan in the west and southwest and Péguilhan in the West and northwest.
