Jungbunzlau district

The Jungbunzlau District ( Okresní hejtmanství Mláda Boleslav in Czech ) was a political district in the Kingdom of Bohemia . The district included areas in what is now the Central Bohemian Region ( Okres Mladá Boleslav ). The seat of the district administration was the city of Jungbunzlau ( Mláda Boleslav ). The area has belonged to the newly founded Czechoslovakia since 1918 and has been part of the Czech Republic since 1993 .

history

The modern, political districts of the Habsburg Monarchy were created in 1868 when the political and judicial administration was separated.

The Jungbunzlau district was formed in 1868 from the judicial districts of Neubenatek ( Czech soudní okres Nové Benátky ) and Jungbunzlau ( Mláda Boleslav ).

In the Jungbunzlau district in 1869 there were 53,914 people, the district comprising an area of ​​9.9 square miles and 75 parishes.

In 1900 the district accommodated 70,333 people who lived in an area of ​​567.97 km² or in 91 communities.

In 1910 the Jungbunzlau district covered an area of ​​568.35 km² and housed a population of 76,989 people. In 1910, 75,372 of the population stated Czech and 1,258 German as their colloquial language. Furthermore, 359 foreign speakers or foreigners lived in the district. The district included two judicial districts with a total of 90 municipalities and 93 cadastral municipalities.
