Raudnitz district

The Raudnitz district ( Czech okres Roudnice nad Labem ) was a political district in the Kingdom of Bohemia . The seat of the district administration ( okresní hejtmanství ) was the city of Raudnitz ( Roudnice nad Labem ). The district was a district of Czechoslovakia after the First World War and became a subdivision of the Ústecký kraj ( Ústí region ).

In 1960 the district was dissolved and came to Okres Litoměřice ( Leitmeritz district ) in Severočeský kraj ( North Bohemian region ). Today the area belongs to the Ústí region in the Czech Republic , which was re-established in 1997 .

The modern, political districts of the Habsburg Monarchy were created in 1868 when the political and judicial administration was separated.

The area of ​​the Raudnitz district was made up of the judicial districts Libochowitz ( Libochovice ) and Raudnitz ( Roudnice ) in 1868 .

38,725 people lived in the Raudnitz district in 1869, with the district encompassing an area of ​​8.0 square miles and 74 parishes.

In 1900 the district accommodated 48,766 people who lived in an area of ​​459.84 km² or in 83 communities.

In 1910, the Raudnitz district covered an area of ​​459.32 km² and a population of 53,629 people. In 1910, 165 of the residents stated German as their colloquial language, 53,311 were Czech-speaking and 153 were foreign or foreign. The district included two judicial districts with a total of 70 communities and 72 cadastral communities.
