The Reichenau an der Kněžna district ( Okres Rychnov nad Kněžnou in Czech ) was a political district in the Kingdom of Bohemia . The seat of the district administration ( okresní hejtmanství ) was the town of Reichenau an der Kněžna ( Rychnov nad Kněžnou ). The district consisted of the judicial districts Reichenau and Adlerkosteletz .

history

The modern, political districts of the Habsburg Monarchy were created in 1868 in the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration (RGBl. 1868/101). In 1869, the district lost 20 municipalities that are part of the judicial district Rokitnitz were and thus fell within the district Senftenberg, as the judicial district Rokitnitz in the district Senftenberg was incorporated.

The area of ​​the Reichenau an der Kněžna was formed in 1868 from the judicial districts Reichenau and Adlerkosteletz.

In 1869 there were 47,064 people in the Reichenau district.
