Borne is a French municipality with 413 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Le Puy-en-Velay and the canton of Saint-Paulien .
geography
Borne is about 13 kilometers northwest of Le Puy-en-Velay on the river of the same name ( Borne ). Borne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Paulien in the north and east, Saint-Vidal in the south and southeast and Loudes in the west.
The National Route 102 runs through the municipality .
