Faramans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Joyeux in the north, Saint-Éloi in the northeast, Pérouges in the east, Bourg-Saint-Christophe in the south and southeast, Bressolles in the southwest, Pizay in the west and southwest and Le Montellier in the northwest.
