Giro d'Italia 1995
The 78th Giro d'Italia was held in 22 stages from May 13th to June 4th 1995 and was won by the Swiss Tony Rominger .
Rominger won all three individual time trials and won the tour by a clear margin. He also benefited on the mountain stages from the disagreement between second and third placed Eugeni Berzin and Piotr Ugrumov , who although teammates were racing against each other rather than Rominger.

1 The stage was supposed to end in Briançon ( France ) but was shortened because the Col Agnel was closed . The pink jersey was worn by two different drivers:
- Mario Cipollini ( Italy ): 1st stage
- Tony Rominger ( Switzerland ): from the 2nd stage to the finish
