Nicktoons (own spelling: nicktoons ) is a German pay TV broadcaster and offshoot of the free-to-air broadcaster Nickelodeon Germany . It is an offshoot of the US broadcaster Nicktoons and was called Nick Premium until March 30, 2010 .
history
Nick Premium started television operations on December 1, 2007. Since Sky was still being expanded, Nick Premium only broadcasted from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. until January 10, 2010, while MTV Entertainment broadcast its programs during the non-broadcast period . Nick Premium showed series such as Das Haus Anubis , Avatar - The Last Airbender , Jimmy Neutron , Unfabulous , iCarly and Drake & Josh , with new episodes of the series being shown on Nick Premium a month before they were free to air on Nick .
Nick Premium was only seen by subscribing to Sky Welt Extra . Nick Premium has been broadcasting around the clock since January 10, 2010. In the mornings between 4:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., a program block from the Nick Jr.
On March 31, 2010, Nick Premium changed its name to nicktoons . The reason was the international reorientation of the Viacom channels. In contrast to all other Nicktoons broadcasters, the German-language broadcaster's program consists of the new cartoon, animation and real series as well as older formats.
Nicktoons Deutschland and Nicktoons Nederland have been broadcasting the same program since March 1, 2012, the real series now only take up a short time in the evening and otherwise have completely disappeared from Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. program block has since disappeared.
The broadcaster has no commercial breaks. The program is designed by German Nickelodeon employees.
On June 30, 2014, Nicktoons ceased broadcasting via Sky because VIACOM did not want to start an HD version of the channel. In September 2014, Sky and VIACOM ended their collaboration completely. The station can still be received in the Unitymedia cable network.
Nicktoons has been available on Magine TV since April 17, 2016 .
Since July 2016 Nicktoons has been broadcasting with a new design. The reason for the redesign is the Europe-wide change in the design.
On February 28, 2019, Nicktoons was switched off via Magine TV . The reason was the discontinuation of the provider Magine TV in Germany. The station can still be received in the Unitymedia cable network .
The channel has been back on Sky since April 2020. There it can then be received with Sky Q or Sky Ticket Entertainment.

Short spots of the station Nicktoons are your horoscope with Thaddäus , Doodlez , KaBlam! and oh yeah! Cartoons . In Germany your horoscope with Thaddäus and Doodlez could be seen at Nick's during the day . KaBlam was broadcast and Oh Yeah! Cartoons were broadcast as short spots in the Nick program window after eight , but only for a short time. Doodlez was also seen at Nick's after eight. All broadcasts of the spots in Germany have been suspended for the time being.
