At the XXXI. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , 15 shooting competitions were held, six of which were for women and nine for men. The venue was the Centro Nacional de Tiro in the Deodoro Olympic Park . The competition program was identical to that of London 2012 . The women held two competitions each, the men three competitions with pistols , rifles and target shooting .
