Osjornoje ( Russian Озёрное , German  Neu Lappönen , Lithuanian Naujieji Lapėnai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Tschernjachowsk in chernyakhovsky district .

Geographical location

Osjornoje is located 21 kilometers north of the Rajonstadt Tschernjachowsk (Insterburg) on a side road that connects Nismennoje (Pleinlauken , 1938–1946 Rosenthal) with Bolshakowo (Groß Skaisgirren / Kreuzingen) . There is no train connection.

history

Gutsdorf, known as Neu Lappönen until 1946 , was incorporated into the newly established Keppurlauken district in 1874 (which no longer exists today), which - even after it was renamed "Birkenhof (Ostpr.)"
