The 2010/11 Luge World Cup begins on November 27, 2010 in Igls, Austria and ends on February 20, 2011 in Sigulda, Latvia . The highlight of the season was the 2011 Luge World Championships from January 29th to 30th, 2011 in Cesana .

The total scores include the points from the actual World Cup races as well as the points that were earned from the Nations Cups in which sleds that were not automatically qualified had to qualify for the World Cup races. In the count, these races always follow the World Cup races. This means that even if starters do not compete in the World Cup or are eliminated, they will be ranked before the non-qualified athletes from the Nations Cup, albeit without points. Unqualified starters from the Nations Cup cannot improve after these races.
