Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines (German Sankt Kreuz im Lebertal ) is a French commune with 1922 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ).

It lies on the Lièpvrette , whose valley is now called Val d 'Argent (Silver Valley) because of its mining past . Like the neighboring communities Lièpvre (downstream), Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines (upstream) and Rombach-le-Franc is she a member of the municipal association Communauté de communes du Val d'Argent . The municipality is part of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park .
