Siegfried Müller senior (born April 21, 1931 ) is a former German racing car driver and the father of Siegfried Müller junior .

Racing career

Siegfried Müller could look back on a career as a touring car driver that spanned two decades . As early as the 1960s, he competed in the European Touring Car Championship , where he won the driver's title in 1975 . Together with the Belgian Alain Peltier he won the BMW 3.0 CSL in the 4-hour race at Monza , the 4-hour race at Brno and was second overall at the 4-hour race at the Nurburgring . Until 1981 he remained active in the European Championship. His last place in the final classification was sixth at the RAC Tourist Trophy in 1981 , as a team mate of Bernd Ringshausen and Klaus Niedzwiedz in a Ford Capri .

He was also active in the sports car world championship . Together with Peltier he finished third in the 1000 km race at Spa-Francorchamps in 1975 .
