The 1992/93 Biathlon World Cup was a series of competitions in biathlon that consisted of 12 individual and six relay races for men and women and was held at six venues. In addition to the six World Cup events in Pokljuka , Ridnaun , Antholz , Lillehammer , Östersund and Kontiolahti , the Biathlon World Championships were held in Borowez , Bulgaria , but were the last World Cup not to be counted for the World Cup. Mikael Löfgren won the overall world cup for men ahead of Mark Kirchner and Pieralberto Carrara , and for women, Anfissa Reszowa won ahead of Myriam Bédard and Anne Briand .
