Daniel "Dan" Frisa (born April 27, 1955 in Queens , New York ) is an American lawyer and politician . Between 1995 and 1997 he represented New York State in the US House of Representatives .

Career

Daniel Frisa was born and raised in Queens approximately two years after the end of the Korean War . He attended public schools in East Meadow . He received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. John's University . Between 1985 and 1992 he was a member of the New York State Assembly . He worked as a marketing representative for Johnson & Johnson and as a retail executive for Fortunoff .

Politically, he belongs to the Republican Party . In the 1994 congressional elections , he was elected to the United States House of Representatives in Washington, DC , in the fourth constituency of New York , where he succeeded David A.
