The euro CityLine aviation mbH (formerly Panorama Flight Service ) was a German airline based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen .

History and destinations

The Euro City Line was founded in 1985 under the name Panorama Flugdienst . A change of ownership four years later finally led the company to enter scheduled flight service in 1989: Using a Fairchild Swearingen Metroliner II , connections were offered from Stuttgart to Bologna and Rotterdam .

On the basis of the new activities, Panorama Flugdienst was renamed Euro City Line in 1995 , although the company was forced to cease operations that same year for financial reasons. The Metro II, which was owned by the Euro City Line at the time - with a missing right engine and a market value of 598,000 DM - was seized and then continued to be operated by SAL Saxonia .
