history

Atlas Air Service GmbH was founded in April 1970. In September 2008 the name was changed to Atlas Air Service AG as the 100% legal successor of the GmbH.

Beechcraft Vertrieb und Service GmbH has been an independent subsidiary of Atlas Air Service AG since May 2014. Since April 1, 2015 Beechcraft Vertrieb und Service GmbH has been operating under the name Augsburg Air Service GmbH.

Atlas Air Service AG took over the business operations and employees of the former charter company Stuttgarter Flugdienst GmbH (SFD) in August 2019 .
