history

In the spring of 1974, HADAG General Air Seebäderflug GmbH was founded as a subsidiary of HADAG Seetouristik und Fährdienst by taking over the seaside resort traffic of General Air, which is under settlement management, with its two de Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Twin Otters . As of December, the official name was changed to HADAG Air .

Due to financial problems in the entire group, HADAG Air was sold in September 1983 and continued to operate under the name Holiday Express .

Destinations

The routes from Hamburg to Helgoland and Westerland (Sylt) were flown as scheduled flights . In addition, ad hoc charter flights were carried out. In 1974 the flights were also marketed by General Air under "General Air Seebäderflug".

fleet

When the company was sold, the HADAG Air fleet consisted of three aircraft:

Before that, a Cessna 340 and a Swearingen SA226AT Merlin IV were operated.
